As-raised ballast is a mixture of sand and gravel used to make concrete. Generally, the grains/stones vary from 0.1mm to 20mm and is produced using a mixture of sharp sand and 4-20mm pea shingle.

Ballast is used in construction and landscaping to make paths, edgings, outdoor facility bases, fence post footings and mixing into concrete. We keep a large stock of material for collection, loose delivery in the midlands and bulk bags throughout the UK.
